The Great North Swim

In June 2015, Ian Greenwood, the Managing Director of Isaac Butterworth Ltd was diagnosed with cancer. That same month, the stage 3 colon cancer tumour was successfully removed and 6 months of chemo therapy treatment began. Having now finished the chemo treatment, the experience of battling cancer has inspired Ian to raise money and awareness for cancer research. As a result, he is to take part in this years Great North Swim. As a keen swimmer, Ian believes this is a perfect opportunity do something which will benefit others who are diagnosed with cancer. All the money raised by Ian for the swim will be donated to The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.  The Christie are world leading experts in cancer care, research and education, so the money raised will contribute to the amazing work they do.

Please take a look at Ian’s JustGiving page, and if you would like to, you can donate to this excellent cause.
